In California, 53% of fourth graders read below national grade level.
We want to change that statistic - one kid at a time. Our goal is
to give every California third-grader one of the most valuable tools
for reading, a dictionary. Our non-profit organization, funded and
staffed entirely by volunteers, is actively seeking donations of time
and money for this mission. Please help us in this important first
step toward increased literacy for California public school children!
Please visit our How
To Help page for details on how to donate to our cause. |
If you
are interested in becoming a volunteer, please visit our Volunteer page for information.
If you are interested in bringing the dictionaries
to your schools and districts as a partner, please contact us at info@californiadictionaryproject.org.
Also, if you are an individual who is interested in helping us build
our donor base and develop other fundraising opportunities, we would
love to hear from you! |
