To extend our reach, we try to partner with like-minded, literacy-focused service groups and organizations. Many of these groups help us distribute dictionaries, as well as sponsoring tutoring and reading programs that help our kids put their dictionary skills into practice.

San Francisco School Volunteers
San Francisco School Volunteers recruits, trains and links 3,000 community and business volunteers with students in over 100 schools. The organization's innovative programs provide students with the most important service that our overburdened educational system cannot always deliver -- one-to-one interaction with an adult. Partner for Oakland Unified School District
For Oakland Unified School District, we partner with Oakland Heroes, a service organization providing literacy tutoring to students within the District. Volunteers from Oakland Heroes and from a variety of local city government departments, civic & service organizations, and corporations participate in the distribution, distributing the dictionaries during classroom visits. Oakland Heroes recruits, trains and supports volunteers assisting in Oakland schools. HEROES places volunteers in a variety of school settings, such as reading buddies, classroom assistants, guest speakers, and technology or gardening assistants. OaklandHeroes.org
